About QSMReferees

 

QSM referee are trained and allocated under the auspices of the QSM Referee Panel. Referees ensure that play is in accordance with QSM's Laws of the game while allowing players and teams experience the highest level of enjoyment. QSMReferee are referee's who are trained and employed to work at any QSM company, including: Premier Touch, City Touch, Queensland Touch League etc. A Referee acts as an agent of the sport - remembering the best referee will ensure the highest level of player fun and team sportsmanship.

 

A referee is a person to whom disputes are referred for decisions in Touch and ensures that the conduct of the game adheres to the laws of the game as set down by QSM.

 

 

Referee Responsibilities 

 

- Referees are required to maintain currency of their knowledge of the laws of the game and competition regulations

 

- Referees are require to take part in referee development and coaching programmes organised by the Referee Panel

 

- Referees are responsible for ensuring the elements required for upgrade are completed

 

- Referees are required to wear the approved referee uniform

 

- Referee are to abide by the Referee Code of Conduct

 

 

 

- We pay you to attend a training session

 

- We pay you to Referee

 

- We transfer the funds to your account each month (EFT)

 

- Opportunties for Referee awards per session
