RESULTS FUSION GAMES UPLOAD HERE

...well riders, and friends it is less than one day till the starter’s gun sounds for the inaugural Fusion Games.

Barriers have been arriving for the past two days, courses are being swept, signs are being installed all for tomorrow morning`s first duathlon race at 7am.

The race circuit has changed 3 times due to road works, field sizes, and the final circuit will be an elbow shaped in-out course with a u-turn at Commercial Rd and Skyring Tce. This will create good spectator sites along Wyandra St. Food, coffee and toilets are all at Fusion corner. Parents please do not cross the race circuit and watch children closely as not all sections are barricaded. Police will charge persons caught not using the toilets - please DONT embarrass yourself and our sport.

We are expecting a cool 8degree morning followed by a beautiful sunny day. Tents are most welcome but only on the nominated areas.

Car parking is best away from Longlands, as this will be a warm-up street we suspect but be aware full road rules apply as the road is NOT closed. Marshalling is under the Fusion building on Wyandra St.

A huge thank you to the Police, Brisbane City Council, Brisbane Transport and David McLachlan`s office for assisting to make this event happen with so many last minute changes, especially also for funding to assist with road infrastructure. Thanks to Richard from Coates for the kilometres of barriers and Darren from Thiess for trucking.

As we all know this is the beginning of the return to inner city racing, so we must all work to make the pilot a success. Please be very polite to residents, motorists, no abusive language during racing and do not litter. Bikes can not obstruct footpaths or shops or houses or units.

It is an exciting day with both Triathlon Queensland and Cycling Queensland working together with QSMSports to make the pilot event happen. We can accept line entries if processed 60 minutes before the scheduled race start.

Should you experience any difficulties on the day, just speak to the marshals, or traffic controllers who can radio the issue through to the Event Manager.

Cheers Mike and Kristina and Chelsie.                                 Updated Maps here
